Pumpkins from outer space

These magnificent creations were gifted to us by Christine B, who was also kind enough to share her trade secrets. Many thanks to this amazing artist.

To create these marvels, you need :

  • a tumble-dryer hose pipe,

  • metal cutting pliers,

  • a glue gun,

  • a hair roller,

  • silver paper or tin foil

  • silver pipe-cleaners.

Cut the hose to the desired size, draw your glue-gun and stick the 2 ends together. You now have your beautiful pumpkin.

To make the tail, cover the hair roller with silver paper or foil. Wrap the pipe-cleaners around a wooden spoon handle or a biro to make the tendrils. Glue the hair roller and the pipe-cleaners onto the pumpkin, take 3 steps back and admire the result with pride.
